I'm 15, weigh 10st (140 lbs) and am 5'4". Is this too heavy? If so, what weight do you think I ought to be? What's optimum? I carry a lot of the weight on my stomach and have small boobs. My legs & butt are average size, I think. What do you guys think?

I think it's just fine. Not skinny, not fat - nice and cuddly in my opinion.
By the sound of it, you could perhaps do with some exercise to keep your tummy in trim, as the older you get, you will probably gain more weight.
Just avoid snacks and junk food and you'll be fine.

On first glance, I'd say it's a little bit heavy (not much, just around 5-10 lbs - do not know what that converts to in st) for a girl your age, however I am not taking into consideration here your family history, body type, exercise habits, eating habits, etc. since none were provided. I don't mean for you to take drastic changes into your life - sometimes taking a 1 or 2 mile walks three times a week is all it takes to feel a change.

Also, what has happened with a lot of my friends who used to carry more weight around when they were younger - they grew up. They got taller, and the weight distributed evenly around their body as they got older.

But you know what, if you're comfortable with your own size and you don't feel unhealthy from it then what does it matter what the guys think?

You should weigh 100 pounds if you are 5 feet tall, then add 10 pounds for every inch after that. In other words, you are the perfect weight for your height. Pay no attention to the old guy who said you are pleasingly plump.

Weight is a number which is meaningless. If you want to excercise and tone your body than do you will be doing more for your health than you will your looks but your looks are what will give you the WOW factor. Please be happy with who you are and if people dont like it than ****** them.

I think you should learn to be happy with your body! Ask your Dr. about your ideal weight, then get/stay healthy!
