I mean if you have been single all your life or for a very long time.

at a point in time you feel happy as hell then the loneliness kicks in an you start tto realize how lonely you are

I'm good with it. After I split from my ex-husband I took more than a year and a half off from relationships before I started dating again.
I dated a very nice guy at that point, who turned out to have the emotional maturity of a 12 year old. (No offense to him, just being strictly honest here).
So now I'm taking another break, and I feel relieved (like I don't have to be careful of what I say) and I feel like weight has been lifted. It's a good feeling, so I'm saying I feel good.

At first it is freeing and nice. Then it gets lonely and depressing wondering if you will ever find the right guy that will stick around. After much waiting and dating jerks, I found a partner that I've been with for over 5 yrs and we live together.

Sometimes I feel better when I'm single than when I'm in a relationship. There's freedom in being single.

I feel so happy and free. I dont have to answer to anyone about anything. I can do what I want when i want and nobody acting like they my daddy, i would say, this is the good stuff

I personally feel fine about it. I don't have to report in to anyone, I come and go as I please, I consider God and then myself. I get along with myself very, very well.
