You can expect a hamster to live for a couple of years. Though saying that i've had hamsters live longer than that. My sister had one that made it to almost three.

they can live up to 2 years but sometimes abit longer as i had one when i was 10 years old and it lasted up till i turned 14 so it was about 3 1/2 upto 4 years old but all depends on the hamster and how its cared for

They live about 2 years, however I have had a few and one lasted 3 1/2 years yet another didnt last the year.

Because of the size of the animal, and its heart and lungs, hampsters generally live between 2/3 years, sometimes a little bit longer.

usually they live longer than people tell you- mine lived until she was 3-4. They might only live 18 months to 2 years though.

It depends on how well fed they are otherwise known as their health the more attention u give it and keep it healthy it should live long.

Take it to regular check ups to the vet and check it's teeth too.
Only feed it the food its ment to eat and let it out of the cage sometimes it your hands and let it get plenty of air .
