I need something that is very reliable, under $2,000.00 and has the AC working. I need some ideas on what brands, modals and year the vehicle should be. Somthing that has decent gas mileage and does not stall or break down.

Being a pizza delivery guy for five years, I can say that you want a Toyota. They're reliable, get great gas mileage, and you can probably find a used one for $2000 and under. Check your local newspaper in the classifieds.

Plus, the e-brake rocks in the winter time!

Wow... Under $2000 with working AC and not prone to break downs... Yea right good luck with that. Maybe you could find a Ford Festiva or Aspire but a lot of these didn't come with AC. Maybe an older Haundi or a Dodge Aries more commonly know as the K Car.

You can probably get a cavalier for that price. but the majority of them sold used have a faulty timing chain system that ALWAYS HAS to be replace. OR at about 130,000 miles complete & catastrophic engine damage will result from BENT VALVES. So you can get a car like this & have to spend $500-1000 soon as you get it just to make it run like u need it to.. in other words "Good used cars dont come cheap". & some of the overpriced used ones are also JUNK.
(Buy here, Pay here) deals usually arent the best either. Just buy from someones grandma.

If you want to pay low, go with an older but reliable car like honda, mazda, toyota. Those cars are long-lasting and don't easily break ;) I know.. .I've got a civic and its VERY reliable. Don't take a Hyundai : for those prices, you'll get one which is before 2000 and those models were cheaps :)

I actually thought of this. 1988-1991 CRX HF 5-speed, gets around 40mpg around 400-430Miles Per Tank, most came with A/C. But alot hondas a/c go out, you can get one for around that price, or a CRX DX 5-speed 32-35MPG and 320-350MPT. Next in the Civic line up would be same year Civic hatchback DX models once again 5-speed, and 1992-1995 VX around 40mpg around 400-430Miles Per Tank then CX around 35mpg around 350Miles Per Tank, then DX same as old dx all 5-speed of course most DX have a/cs in later models

Depends on where you are. A rural location will need more power to get you around. Dense urban you'll need a small one that is easy to get through the traffic and to park.

Citroen C3 would be good for fuel as it actually stalls every time you stop and restarts itself silently when you want to go. But you didn't mention your country.

Get a moped. It's got built in a/c. LOL
Definitely the cheapest vehicle to run.

Most pizza cars are like Tempos or something... I think that is a pretty handy car for that job

Buy a four cylinder Toyota Camry or a three Cly. metro but the Camry would outlast any of them.
