i know that when i enter into the 'pms' phase i feel really ugly and bad about myself, even when I'm looking my best. I would say it's hormone changes which physiologically trigger psychological changes. I also find small tasks overwhelming and get stressed and depressed. I personally manage my life so that i don't make important decisions, have interviews or auditions or have any important events during this phase, as much as i possibly can plan. As for feeling fat I actually avoid looking too much in the mirror and remind myself that it's just my brain playing tricks on me! i don't know if yours is cyclical like mine, but our minds can be our worst enemy and best friend!

Yeah, I know- it sucks so hard-core that for about a week out of every month none of my jeans fit, and they're supposed to be my "comfortable" clothes!! I actually had to go buy a "fat wardrobe" of stuff I can actually fit into on those days. Drag!

it's fluid retention - cut down your carbs - we all eat too many anyway - a couple of days and you should start peeing a lot ( more than usual) and feeling thinner and lighter - if you don't eat bread and anything with sugar you won't get this also your periods will get lighter.and you'll feel less ' crampy'

Because we're women..
most of the time we overthink, and overanalyze every little thing.. including our bodies. So, if we gain a single pound, we beat ourselves up about it. It's annoying, but we're women.. that's what we do=]]
