Men or women..I think it is a personal choice..why don't we ask ,".. men should stay home instead of working ?"

I am a mother of 2 and I was a stay at home mom for 2 years, now I have a crappy job, and I want to go back to staying at home and watching kids and cleaning.
I feel like women can do whatever they feel. Most moms usually want to stay at home with the little ones until they get a little older...but depends on what kind of woman you are I guess.

I have a 3 month old (my first). I'm a cosmetologist, before I got pregnant I was working full time in a salon. 3 months into my pregnancy I left and I don't plan on going back full time until she is in pre-school. I could be working part time now but I feel like she needs me more than I need the extra bucks. If I needed to be working now, I definitely would. So I feel like it's different for everyones situation. I have friends who would go nuts if they were with their baby 24/7...I absolutely love it! She's not going to be this little forever and I also don't have anyone that I feel completely comfortable with to leave her this young. Once she is a year old or so I plan on working part time a couple days or nights a week and leaving her with her Grandmother. But for now, I love it! I don't plan on having anymore, so I want to enjoy her as much as possible! Although, I can't wait to be back in a salon full time as well. So, I think it really depends on the situation...I couldn't see myself staying home when she is older and in school doing nothing all day..I would go nuts! I have to be out socializing making money! =)

I guess it depends on the woman and her family.

I've worked all my married life, but my sister quit work to raise a family when she got married. Their finances were such that they could afford to do that (well, I assume so, anyway.) But my sister and I had different priorities.

I was unemployed for several months due to being in a car accident (actually, I was run over by a Chevy Blazer). I thought it would be less stressful not working but it was more stressful for me having nothing to do to get my mind off not being able to move around very well.

If she doesn't need or have to work, then yeah, she can stay home all she wants, but if the family needs the extra money, then I think she should contribute to the household financially too.

It's up to the woman and her husband or boyfriend. Sometimes that's what's best for the family. I'm pregnant and planning on staying home with my son because it's cheaper and I want to do it.

lol...nah for real, its a womans choice, but everything in a family should be discussed by husband and wife to see what is best for the family, finances and children

No.

I think women should do what they want. If they want to stay home, so be it. If they want to work, they should do it too.
