yes !sometimes what we think we want is not what god really wants for us I'm 36 and divorced and it took me a long time to see that the very thing i was holding on to god was trying to take me from it!

I did...I thought for the longest time that I wanted to live in New York City, but when it came time to graduate from college and move there, I realized I could never afford it, and I'd be miserable if I was in that fun city with no money to do anything. It would also have put me really far away from my family. So I moved to Greenville, S.C., and I haven't regretted that decision at ALL.

Yes honey as what we think may not be necessarily what we've always wanted. There are many opportunities out there and that's where we have to grab them in order to know and achieve our dreams though.

I have lost count of the times that I have gotten something that I had always wanted just to find out that it wasn't a good thing for me at all!!

Yes. I always thought I wanted kids, and then I started babysitting my siblings bad a** children.....changed my mind REAL quick on that one!

Yes..I guess maybe I did give up too quickly because I felt I could never get to that thing..
so I went on to pursue other things..

Only when I found something comparably better or found out that what I wanted is not as good as I had been building it up in my mind.
