That is a good way to get hit by lightening and having the whole set up shorted out. Be careful when alternating like that.

That would actually INCREASE the discharge-rate. The human animal is a rather inefficient machine, and the increase in reciprocal motion would not result in sufficient energy production to offset the energy consumption.
