The best part about your 20s is establishing the personal identity that you formed in your teens, being free to try out new things without being controlled by your parents, and being young enough to fail at something without ruining the rest of your life.

Learn, grow, take chances, become the person who you always wanted to be!

Welp, when you are twenty, you are no longer a tenn anymore. When you are twenty, more people see you as an adult because of the mental thought of the number 20 being so much more than the number 19 when in reality it's only 1 higher. You only have to wait another year to drink, etc. 20 itself is an odd age alot like 19. 19 is the year after you were legal and 20 is the year before you can drink. They are basically uneventful ages as far as allowances, but think if it this way, from what I understand, 20's is some of the most fun and best parties you will ever have. However, for some this is held of til 30's and sometimes into 40's.

Well, I am 20, have been since July. I guess its just the fact that you are officially a young adult. You are no longer a teenager. For the first few weeks nothing feels different, but as time passes, you kinda start to see things differently and see where you want your life to head. Its sort of an eye opener for the future. Happy Birthday, Hope my answer helps you out some. Being 20 is a great thing, you will hear that your not a teen or you are an adult now ALOT. :) But its nothing bad... Its a great age.. You are right in the middle, not old not too young. I hope you have a nice birthday.

First, Happy Birthday to you and Bless you.
Being 20 first of all it that you are not a teen any more. You are young woman with more things you can do. Such as getting loans for a car, a house or a trip; better jobs such as supervisor in a company, or doing more tasks that require more responsability. Not only this but also you make more choices in your life but with more understanding. For some people, being 20 is getting old, or for some it is nothing, but it is special because you are official an adult and you gain more responsability which opens doors for opportunities to better and bigger things in life.
As a teen maybe you would travell with a parent, older sibbling or someone much older, but now you don't have to travel with supervised company. That is what 20 is about no supervision but being responsible, understanding and caring to obtain the goals that you realy want in life.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU

Happy Birthday!!!
I'm 42 tomorrow and am equally despondent, however - Life is what you make it.
You can look forward to many things at 20, and by the sound of you, avoidance of too many hangovers may be one of them.
Look on the bright side. You have 45 years of hard work ahead of you. The pensions crisis may have been solved by then.
I would have come up with some good things about being 20 but there aren't any I'm afraid.
Never mind.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I just turned 21 back in May, and I can tell you that the greatest thing about being 20 is the anticipation of knowing you'll soon be 21. However, when you're finally legal, it's actually kind of a drag. I know that sounds totally cliche' and I never believed people when they told me this, but it's actually true! Also, you're no longer a teenager.
Enjoy this last year of breaking the law! You'll never get to do it again!

You are still young enough to make the right choices. I partied like I was 20 until I was 37 then it all came crashing down. Now I have a record, my daughter is in a foster home, my husband is drinking himself to death because of how bad I messed up all our lives. Now all I can do is try to recover what I can and do damage control. Stay away from drugs and alcohol. They may not take their toll for years but in the end they get you.

Who can remember that far back? I think the best thing between 20 and 29 was really changing and growing as a person. I was a completely different person by the time I was 30 and it was great.

I spent my 20th B-day in the air. The Marine Corps put me on a plane to Japan the day before my birthday and I arrived as my birthday ended due to the time change. I was also bumped up to first class because of a booking mistake. That was cool. It was the beginning of a wild and fun 7 years overseas.
