I like the look of the MItsubishi Evolution, but the Subaru WRX has a hood scoop I like. Plus I know Subarus are really reliable cars. Which one do you guys think is better overall?

Subaru.. at least you aren't supporting the company that gave the world the Mitsubishi Zero..

A British show called Top Gear did a segment where they tested both cars to see which one was better overall. They couldnt pick between the two as both were really good cars. Although on the same show they put a factory Mitsubishi Lancer Evo MR against a factory Lamborghini Mucielago on a road course. Guess what car won? The Evo out cornered and out drover the Lambo, and the Subaru WRX STI could do the same. Really its all about the looks of the cars as they are both great cars to have. If you like the hood scoop of the Subaru then that would be the car to get. You wont be sacrificing anything if you get one car or the other, except maybe a hood scoop.

WRX. Subaru won a number of World Rally Championships with this car. Mitsubishi actually withdrew from the same competition after discovering that the car was too unreliable. Since parts are pretty expensive on these cars, and performance is nearly identical (the WRX handles a little better, thanks to a lower centre of gravity), I'd stick to the Subaru.

The WRX is a much better performing car. It has won it's division in off-road, trials, and rallies for the past several years. I'd go for the WRX. Good luck!

i would take a WRX over an EVO any day i love the body style of a WRX the hood scoop gives it the bad *** look

Personally - I prefer the Subaru - I've had one for a couple of years now and have not been disappointed . . . except for the 08 front end redesign, which I find to be hideous. Hopefully they will rework that for 09. But as far as handling, performance, etc. Subaru gets my vote.
