Okay, I'm about 13 and i was wondering which is better. I'm kind of scared to use tampons so i don't know what to do. any advice????

It really depends on preference. There are other methods that can be used including Insteads which are like a menstrual cup that can be safely left in for up to 12 hours, and Sea Pearls which are like a sponge. Both tampons and pads come in variety packs, so your best bet is to purchase a variety pack of pads and tampons which include different sizes, and see what works best for you.

When I was 13 I started out using pads, they are much easier at first but later on when I was 14 I started using Tampons.

if your a virgin which i REALLY hope you are at 13 then a tampon might be tricky, give it a try it really isnt that bad unless your small, but they make small tampons so try that. but if your freaked out use a pad until your a tad bit more mature *and i DONT mean that in a mean way!* but as you get older you just kinda know what to do, you know?

I started out with pads and found that I hated them...It really depends on your preference. Start out with a pad and see how you feel then I would give a tampon a try.

Best thing for you to talk your parent. You really need to know about tampons and pad. It is important for every girls whenever they needs. And every girl are difference time to time.

use a pad. just stick it to your panties and go and talk to youe mom older sister or a trusted teacher at school not a group of random strangers on the web
