Yes, I would say so. Check out http://hillaryproject.com/?/en
Hillary brags about starting Media Matters, and the Center for American Progress. While you are there check out, "Will Hillary Go Down In Corruption Scandals?"
The Hillary project reports the news about Hillary Clinton that the media refuses to!
EDIT:
Ideogenic: Rush is not covering anything up. You are taking that out of context as usual. The "phony Soldiers" he was referring to was on a previous program about a guy and his ilk that pretend to be soldiers in Iraq and claim they are purple heart wearing like Mcbeth, who spreads propaganda about so called American Atrocities in Iraq. This BULL was spread by radio all over the middle eastern countries. When in actuality this guy was kicked out of boot camp after 44 days! Nice try!

It is difficult to believe anything that comes from an organization who's sole purpose is to discredit. Media Matters is funded by many far left wing liberal organizations one of which is Center for American Progress. Center for American Progress' sole purpose is to counter the Heritage Foundation. If you follow the line here you will see that Media Matters and its funders are organizations built solely for contradiction rather that a principle of truth. Whatever the argument against Fox news they are a news organization like any other. If you ask me to compare the two I would find Media Matters to be far more dangerous
simply because of its purpose!
I should mention I don't watch Fox news but that doesn't mean I wouldn't in the future.
To add, anyone who believes Media Matters should have no problem with organization like http://newsbusters.org/! They are two organizations cut from the same cloth just at opposite ends!

While we fiddle with whom we should be paying attention to Soros, a Socialist hog, is going to bring down the country one way or the other. Mind you .......this is how he has made his billions.
MEDIA DOEs NOT MATTER. But they will make things a whole hell the closer the election gets..and whoa to all who do not believe our country is in grave danger from within...and I don't mean just........terrorist.

lltrix, Media Matters, a legitimate news source? Are you kidding?
At least Fox News wasn't founded by Republican Political Leaders.
Media matters can hardly be considerred a news source at all.
Rupert Murdoch is not a Republican Political Leader. The Founders of Media Matters ARE Democrat Political Leaders.

I think I am the first to notice that the AP and AFP "news" stories are simply recirculated and redone over and over with slight new bias attached but never anything seriously original. As far as straight propaganda like media matters and pundits take it all in perspective.

What conservatives have never learned about how the media operates is that the media source (NYT, Fox, WSJ, CNN) doesn't really matter. They are just conduits for the original source, which is the only source that matters. I've seen conservatives dismiss NYT reporting from White House officials just because it was from the NYT! Why don't conservatives understand that when the NYT is quoting "White House officials" there can't be ANY liberal spin? The NYT is just doing the White House's propaganda operations for them (which results is colossal foreign policy mistakes like invading Iraq).
Media Matters published Rush's transcript. Rush was the source, people. Now Rush is trying his best to cover it all up. Rush can backpeddle all he wants, but his lying will help bury his credibility even deeper.

I never disqualify a Fox article if it is actually from the AP. I've actually used Fox AP source material as links on Yahoo answers. However, most cons on Yahoo answers don't quote the AP, they quote Limbaugh or Hannity or O'Reilly. And, they rarely back up their B.S with valid news sources. And, those are not news sources unlike Media Matters which is a valid news and critical resource that is actually critical of both democrats and republicans. They are also very critical of all media including L.A times, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, Limbaugh, CNN, and Coulter.
It's ironic that people think George Soros funds Media matters and Moveon.org. He doesn't and there is no proof of it. Media Matters has opened its books for everyone to see and there is absolutely no evidence of George Soros' support. This is a rumor that was started by Hannity. Surprised that Fox is caught lying again?
Tell you what, you find a falsehood on Media matters and prove to me that it is false and I'll reconsider. But until that, the conservatives on this site have some explaining to do as to why they still support a fascist in the White House.
JON M.... Fox was founded by Rupert Murdoch who started it in the early 1980's. He even admitted that it was something he wanted to start to support and be a mouth piece for the Reagan administration and to promote a conservative agenda. He said it and admitted it. That is the same as any political candidate starting the station. He started it to be a propaganda mouth piece for the right wing.
IBD??? I used to get IBD. Funny, that rag is one of the most right wing biased papers of all times. I still read it but it rarely if ever tells the truth. It's so bent toward corporate 'truth' that it rarely prints the real truth of what is really going on in the real world where real people have to live. I've also caught them lying quite often. In particular about this whole George Soros funding Media matters issue. It's a lie and it's been proven for a long time that it isn't true.

It is a free country, for the most part. When i see a story from a site i think is biased,it encourages me to do my own research(if interests me). Discount the source, but not the story without further research. Always check several sources,it is a good way to research.
