I always change it at other people's houses when they have it from under.

I am very laid-back and easy going, little things like that usually don't bother me, but come on peeps, help me out here ....

Prefer toilet paper to roll from the top or under?

I prefer the toilet paper to roll from the top. If it rolls from the bottom, I can't see how much I'm ripping and it drives me nuts!

I prefer it from the top as well. The problem though, is it's designed to come from under so that when you fold it over the softer side is on the outside, so if you have it coming from the top you have to fold it under.

I know, I'm weird.

Under. It seems to be an American thing for it to roll from the top

From the top is the proper way, ever been in a hotel with embossed or printed paper. It always reads from the top. So it seems this would be the proper way.

My mom is the same way. I have actually started doing it from top. It never bothered me before untill my mom said something.

I do it under, but everybody hates it, so they always change it back to over the top.

Coming over the top!!!! But my bigger complaint is when someone uses the last of it- the new roll is within reaching distance and it KILLS them to put the new roll on!!! WHY? WHY? WHY?
