With 2 of the top 3 pitchers in the AL, I believe they will.

Yes and I would have still answered yes had I seen this question BEFORE the Indians one the first 2 games of the series. The fact that the Yankees beat the Indians in the regular season doesn't mean a thing in the playoffs. A sweep would be awesome, but I could deal with the Tribe in 4. It would be so cool to beat them in their own house.

I don't think so. I know this is not the answer you wanted but the Yanks just did so good against them during the regular season. If Cleveland is going to beat the Yankees, they're gonna have to score a ton of runs. There's no way the Tribe's pitching can shut down the Yankees' in a 5-game series.

actually C.C.Sabathia is 1-7 with a 7.13 ERA against the Yankees all-time. Honestly, the Yankees are overall better than Cleveland in every category. Sabathia and Carmona are unproven in the playoffs and the rest of the rotation is weaker compared to Wang, Pettitte, Clemens. The Yankees have a better offense and a MUCH stronger bullpen, I mean did you see Joe Borowski's ERA? Yankes in 3

I don't think the Indians will beat the Yankees unless they do Major League 3, another movie. I think that was last time Cleveland won a championship.

just because the yankees rolled over the indians this year, it doesnt mean that they will do it in the playoffs. the tribe has the best one-two combination in the majors this year and possibly ever. but, with all that aside, this is the playoffs. anything can happen

Cleveland is going to destroy the yankees this postseason. The first two games are in Cleveland, which the indians will both take, because they are using two Cy young award candidates. Yankee fans can't say they will win because they swept them in the regular season, because they never faced CC Sabathia.
Thanks for winning the wildcard, yankees, but the ALDS is the farthest you're going
CAN SOMEBODY SAY KENNY LOFTON????

No, Sir, because The Yankees dominated the Indians in 2007, and most likely, they will continue to do so.

There is such a fine line between all eight teams in the playoffs that any team could beat any other on any given day. The teams that get hot are going to win and that could be any one of them, including the Indians.
