It doesn't mean anything. It is a made up word. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is a word in the song with the same title in the musical film Mary Poppins. Critics' belief that the word itself has obscure origins has created some debate about when it was first used historically. According to Robert B. Sherman, co-writer of the song with his brother, Richard, the word was created mostly out of double-talk

It's an old Medieval word. Created as a way to bestow honor to peasants who acted in a Noble Knight-like heroic manner to save a Princess or Queen against a common thief or mugger. Loosely translated, it means Jaz Iz Me is the most awesome person ever to walk the face of the Earth.

This is/was the longest word in our language. As far as I know, it doesn't mean anything. It was used in a song from the Sound of Music and the point was...if you want to impress people, sound intellegent, etc., you can use this word.

There is no meaning, the artist of the song just put that in there because he had nothing nor could he think of anything to use in its place. It is not a real word.

Something quite atrocious (: lol
More seriously, for me it evokes a feeling of whimsy, excitement, and serendipity. Check out the song to see what you think.

It's just a ridiculous word that was made popular by "Mary Poppins."
