Only if he wants to get his head handed to him for twisting out of context what Rush said.

I don't care much for either of these people in general, but I can say without fear that this would not benefit Reid in the least. He would never be allowed to state his views adequately whether they were offensive or not. This is because radio hosts control the content on their shows and never let dissenting opinions completely state their case. Rush Limbaugh is terrible about cutting people off so he can pontificate at length on why they are wrong based on a few scant words which never represent the whole of what is being said by the opposition. Additionally, Rush Limbaugh is a spinmeister. I know this just upsets his supporters to no end when stated, but it is a fact none the less. I am a conservative, but I have little use for Limbaugh, or others like him in the talk radio world. So while I think Reid is totally wrong on most of his stances, playing punching back for Limbaugh would not help him, nor would it provide anyone with any deeper understanding of the forces at play here.

Yes,
If Harry had the intellectual power, he could score a victory for his side.
But he has neither the brains, nor the facts, to win with.
He is protected from libel laws while on the floor of the Senate, so he's a coward for not saying what he said to Rush's face.
How can America respect Democrats? Really?

Rush sure spanked the liberal wienies on this one!! WTG Rush! The real sad thing is the liberal media gave Rush very limited coverage, and what coverage they gave him, they also tried to give credit to Harry Reid and the democrats for the donation!! Harry Reid himself tried taking credit for it in his speech! And they wonder why they have the lowest rating for congress with 11%...

I think it's a good idea. Of course it must be asked whether Sen Reid has the guts to pick up the phone and talk to Rush directly, on the air.

No, because it would be acknowledging Rush is legitimate.
Rush is no more legitimate then a cat is a giraffe.
Signed, an ex ditto-bot that finally got smart and started checking out what Rush had to say and found very quickly he's a partisan hack that twists facts to outright lying.
You ought to try it sometime. That is, check him out, you'd be amazed at the amount of BS that comes out of Rush's mouth.
Peace

I would LOVE to see that but I fear Reid would not accept. But yet he'll distort Rushs words and call him out. He just wont respond when challenged as Rush did.

He should, but he won't. He's a spineless wimp that makes a charge then has to hide behind his "mommy's skirt" of his prestigious Senate position.

Only if Rush first admits what he said and gives an actual apology to GENUINE soldiers who are against the war.
