My moniter light goes to amber afyer 5 seconds!?

My HP moniter goes to what appears sleep mode I dont know how to get my moniter to turn on its just a black screen with no coursor visabelcan somebody help me resolve this issue im running windows xp and I know the moniter works since I connected it to a different PC!

If this is happening at boot, then the issue falls to your video card.

Make sure it is seated, connections are solid etc.

Consider it time to buy a new graphics card
