weather has gone nuts this year? I've been wearing a jumper most days this summer, yet yesterday and today I've been wearing a t.shirt and enjoying some super hot days.
I live in Scotland by the way.

This is my second summer here in South Carlina, USA, & it's been just as hot & humid as the summer before. Today, it's up to 82 degrees, with sunny skies, & a beautiful breeze. This is normal for this area, so my family tells me. We need some rain soon. There's a hint of fall in the air & the mornings/nights are a bit cooler but the more enjoyable cool, autumn weather, won't arrive for a while yet. I'm not complaining because if I was still in Ohio, I'd be dreading yet another brutal winter.

Hi Roxy, here in Southern Ontario we have had the hottest summer on record with very little rain and our lawns all went brown. Now it is either too cool to go out without a jacket or the next day we wear a jacket and it's too hot and you have to peel everything off. This is when people start getting sick. I 'm glad I finally got the grass cut yesterday because iit's raining today. We never know anymore. I'm dreading winter. I'm afraid all the precip we didn't get in the summer will hit us as snow and I'm the designated snow shoveler as my husband has asthma.

I live South of Scotland, and the weather which is not the usual conversation piece has become that way.
Weather Astrologically shows there will be very warm days and suddenly bitter cold. I do meen unusually cold.
Scotlands my home. So when venturing out in a tea shirt take with you a ski suit and boots.

Yes, it has in N. Carolina, USA. The summer here as been very dry. We had over 2 mts of over 90 degree weather and about a wk of over 100. It's cooler at night, but in the 80's today. I still have crepe myrtles blooming and tomatoes on the vine. Yet some of the leaves have already died on the trees. I miss fall.

Yeah I agree. Here in Dallas, it rained heavily for about 3 months this spring and early summer, flooding everything repeatedly, then it remained tropical-humid and about 100 degrees for the next three months (summers are usually dry here). Now it's October, and the temps are still nearly 100 degrees, with Florida-like humidity.

A few weeks ago, I went to Death Valley, and it was humid, and it rained one day. It was 115 to 120 every day. This time of year the highs are usually 100 to 105.

Yup! The weather is going nuts with more to come.
As a former weather forecaster for the Air Force, I keep track of this stuff, not to mention friends in the field now. With the melting of ice & emissions it has added to a natural event.
We are in for some rough times.
I would love to visit your neck of the woods some day when I have more cash flow.

The weather has gone nuts, not just this year, but every year, increasingly, and shall continue, because we, (humans) are progressively getting nuttier with/about our ecology concern. Or should I say . . lack of!
I hate to be a bearer of sad things to come, but I believe these
"super summer days" you are enjoying, will in a short matter of time become "super grilling days!"
And we'll be what will be grilling away!
