Funny one,bt
I think,my logic applies as follows:
g-7th alphabet
a-1st alphabet
r-18th alphabet
b-2nd alphabet
Thus adding them,7+1+18+2=28
Thus the garb needs to be 28 years old!!
Thus wen it has 28age,it would bcome garb"AGE"!

Of course, it depends on the "age" appearance of the "garb" before I put the two together. The "agier" it looks, the closer the "garb" becomes. (I hope that wasn't too "garbled"!)

When it comes back into fashion is the time to get rid of it . I call it a vicious circle

Usually a few years or so, then I donate all old clothes to a local charity and claim it on my taxes.

Age is not the criterion. As soon as I spill something on it that won't come out in the wash (i.e. usually the first time I wear it, duh!) I punish the offending item immediately by disposing of it via the trusty wheelie bin.

Dressy stuff is good for one season, comfy stuff for a year, lounge about stuff lasts until it is in tatters...
