Is there any mention of women and long hair in the bible? My daughter-in-law thinks anyone over 50 - I am 56 - should have a man hair cut and I say there are women in their 70 with beautiful LONG hair. (mine is half way down my back and well taken care of). Any bible reference would help me muchos, but I need specific book and chapter. Thanks.

in a couple of years,I'll be there,probably with my longish hair.I hate those "bobbed" haircuts that make women look old and manish.(just my opinion)
My gramma had long hair as does one of my friends.I like it :)

I love long hair. I think long gray or white hair is beautiful. Why do women feel as though they have to chop their hair off when they get older?

I think that it looks good.
Susan Sarandon has long hair. And Sophia Lauren had long hair until well past 50.

im not sure if you've seen the dove hair protect advert for older women and the women on that have gorgeous hair!
