I'm making a quilt for my baby, McKenzie and she's pretty small, like 20 inches long, so do you think a blanket that 24 inches long si big enough? I'm like already done, so do I need to make another one?

Maybe, I'm not usre, really depends on how long you want it as a quilt for her, i mean of course it would be kept once she's grown, but i mean if you want it as an actually blanket during her infanthood , maybe make one a little bigger

Babies grow pretty fast. Most of the time you would want to do a crib-size quilt, which will be about 42 by 54 inches.

You could just make a few more and sew them all together.

If you enjoy the process, yes, you'll surely need to make another one.

The 24" one *will* "work" for a while and can graduate to a car-seat pad and then become a pillow top or wall-hanging or doll's quilt. :-)
