They are both good. I'd take Manning simply because he has proven that he can win without a defense.

Every Brady Super Bowl team has had one of if not THE league's best defense. Brady NEVER has to put up 28 points a game like Manning does most weeks.

Indy won the Super Bowl with THE WORST RUN D IN THE HISTORY OF THE NFL. That is unbelievable.

As to those who say Manning is a choker, you must have missed last years AFC championship game last minute TD drive against New England - guess that doesn't count, huh?

Brady backers always say he has lesser receivers and to some degree that is true. However, Manning MAKES his receivers. Other than Harrison, none of Mannings WRs over the years were stars before after playing with him (go check how many WRs were drafted ahead of Reggie Wayne). Dallas Clark, Pathon, Pollard, Stokely, the list goes on. All great with Peyton, never anywhere else.

ALso in Manning's favor is that he is a coach on the field and his own offensive coordinator. He doesn't even need a coach.

All in all, you can't go wrong with either, but I'd rather have Peyton.

I'd rather have one on each side of the field. Peyton Manning communicates better on the field with his team than any other QB in the league. Tom Brady has a more passive confidence and recognizes that his team just knows what to do. They are the two best QBs in the entire league. I'd probably choose Peyton today but think Tom has the ability to change that from day to day.

Peyton Manning.

Yes, he's had better receivers and running backs (Corey Dillon was not exactly a crappy RB by the way).

But Brady always had a stingy defense that keeps the score low, and a great defense will always be better than good receivers. Ask Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer, Kurt Warner and Jeff Hostetler.

Meanwhile, Manning won a ring with a #23 ranked defense.

What about the comebacks? Has Brady overcome a 21 point deficit in the last 5 minutes? Or 18 points in a conference championship?

This tells us who's been better under pressure lately.

Manning.

Brady may have three rings to Manning's one. But how many times has the league had to take measures in order to put a hault to the Patriots foul play? Too many. Peyton won with a team that didn't break the rules.

The league did not come together after the Colts won and said, "Hey, the Colts have been violating this rule for a long time and nobody, including the referees, have called them on it. Perhaps we need to remind the referees of what is IN THE RULE BOOK."

But they did say that after every one of the Patirots Super Bowls. And now they've caught them red-handed cheating after not winning a Super Bowl. So how are the Patriots cheating now? We don't know yet, because Bill Belichick is a mastermind. Not at coaching defense, but rather, at cheating.

Brady is a great QB. But unfortunately, he's coached by a man with no morals or any regard for fair play whatsoever.

While Brady is great....Manning is just on a different level.....Hes half player and half coach......Its fascinating just to watch him play....He picks up on things like nobody else in the league...And while the first answerer said they liked Brady because he was cool and calm for me its the exact opposite... . I like QBs like Manning that are more passionate about the game...I want fire...I don't want ice......I grew up on QBS like Young and Favre so that's something that draws me into a QB.....Brady has the rings but that really doesn't matter to me because Manning is the one i watch every chance I get...

Peyton Manning.

He's a physical freak with a stronger arm and a better QB I.Q. Don't get me wrong Tom Brady is a good QB, but I'd prefer Manning.

manning hands dow a better qb, and his team wasent busted for cheating i dont think brady can even be considered for anything any more the cheating brings up too many questions about their victories as an organization the colts are class and peyton is also a class guy, you cant say that about the patsies and their underhanded tactics they are branded as cheaters and deservedly so

Definitely Peyton Manning! Tom Brady's still really good, but there's just something about Manning that puts him over the top!

Manning by far. Brady is a system QB on by far the most talented team in the NFL. He would be just another QB on another team. Manning would be great on any team.

I would rather have Tom Brady. He has won 3 rings. He has had no weapons around him before this year, and he put up top QB stats. Now he got Moss and others, and he is putting up numbers better than Manning. Also you have to remember, Manning has had Harrison, Edgerran James and now Addai, Reggie Wayne. He has always had weapons. Brady is the better qb, and we will find out Nov. 4.
