Ther are 12 men who have left footprints on the Moon, the first being Neil Armstrong, Commander, Appolo 11, and his Lunar Module Pilot Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin, on July 20, 1969.

The first to exit the Eagle and set foot on the moon was Neil Armstrong. His co-pilot, Buzz Aldren followed him.

I think there were about fifteen men in total who visited the moon, but you can look that up on Google.
