That is such a good question! He has proven time after time that he is not capable of being a head coach! Norv as an assistant coach yes, but NOT a head coach. Look at his miserable record as head coach with the Washington Redskins (horrible) and the Oakland Raiders.

The real question is "why does San Diego think he could be a head coach, particularly since they had MArty Schot. already under contract?"
