All that matters is whether there is a second line or not. the second line does not have to be as dark, darker, or anything. If the line color is right (some tests have pink lines, some blue) and you saw the line within the stated time on the box of the test.......then you are PREGNANT!!

A good site to go to about all this is http://www.peeonastick.com and they have all sorts of information on tests.

Congrats mommy to be!!!

It's not likely to be negative. Monistat shouldn't affect the results. A line is a line no matter what color it is. If you are still in doubt take another HPT or go to the Dr. and get a blood test. Either way you will find out something. Good Luck to you!!

It is definitely possible that you could be pregnant. My pregnancy tests usually turned out the same way yours is. My first pregnancy I took about 3 different tests and they were all the same....But just to give yourself peace of mind if you are trying to conceive, go into the Dr.'s. A blood test will give you the info that you want, especially since you are only 4 days late for your period. Also, cramps during early pregnancy seem to be pretty common. If you start bleeding or have severe pain then that is considered miscarriage cramps. But when you think about the uterus being a really strong muscle, it is going to have to stretch a little to accommodate that little one growing...so that might mean a little cramping at first. Best of luck!!!

My line was very faint as well and now I am sitting here looking at my 2 year old son! My doctor told me when I called that there would be NO line at all if it was negitive and the cramping is probably just fake period cramps you will get them durning the time you should be on your period... they will stop. congrats! I don't think the monistat would have any affect in a positive PT

Pregnancy tests are very accurate. Since you aren't that late that is most likely the cause of the faint line. Your HCG levels just aren't that strong yet. I had the same thing happen when I was pregnant with my now 4 year old. I went to the Dr. and the results were confirmed. You may want to do the same. However if the test said pregnant be prepared for the Dr to say the same thing.

The cramping might be implantation.

When I got my first positive pregnancy test, it led me to a hysteria (because we had been trying to get pregnant for 2 years) of taking 4 different pregnancy tests in a row. I then insisted my doctor take a blood test to confirm. The doctor told me that pregnancy tests are very accurate. I suggest you take another test and/ or check with your doctor.

Good luck!

Congratulations you ARE pregnant, and also you probably dont have a yeast infection either. If you have noticed lots of clear/white cervical mucus that is becasue you are pregnant, its a normal thing that will happen throughout your pregnancy and bewared it only gets worse. Most woman wear panty liners throughout there pregnancies because of it.

The cramping is also a sign of pregnancy its your uterus streching and preparing for the growth of your baby.

If the cramping gets more severe or you notice any bleeding call your doc ASAP. But i would still be calling your doc anyway to make that first prenatel appointment.

CONGRATULATIONS MOMMY!!

You are most likely pregnant. It is pretty uncommon to have a false positive. Take another test tomorrow and then schedule yourself a doc's appt. It doesn't matter how light the line is , if there is another one..,..you are pregnant.
