My truck is 5 years old and it has 46,000 miles on the original tires.

Can I keep driving on the tires I have if they're not bald? I know I'll need new tires soon but I hardly ever drive my truck because I drive a company vehicle.

depends on what the threads look like and also what kind of terrain or weather you drive in.

suggest you get them inspected (which you can get done for free at Sears or other places)

Unless your vehicle comes with run-flat tyres, driving on a flat tyre - even for a short time - will destroy the tyre, and can cause an accident, as that corner of the vehicle will have very little traction. Turning a corner can even tear the tyre off the rim (and driving on the rim means having to buy new wheels as well as tyres.)

Put the spare on, and get the flat patched - it's not a big deal, and it's not expensive.

Good luck!
