Unfortunately, "E" - All of the Above.
A mouse, generally speaking can't be fixed if it is genuinely broken (unless you are *very* good and knowlegeable).
A keyboard, depending on the problem, is easily fixed, but again, most people haven't the skill
In both cases, 90% of "broken" items are simply in need of a simple 5 minute cleaning.
A broken microphone, by today's construction standards, is made with rather flimsy materials. The act of repairing it is more likely to damage it than fix it.
As for printers, a new printer, right now, is being sold for 50-80% UNDER COST. The glut on the market is *that bad*! Most of the problems a printer is likely to face can be fixed with 5-10 minutes (max) of effort on the owner's part. Anything else would require you to take it to a repair guy who'll charge you $40 an hour for a 15 minute repair, plus parts...likely $50-$100 for a $40 printer...You do the math... :(

I agree - I don't think the majority of people would go through the trouble to get any of these fixed. Except maybe the printer, if it was an expensive one.
