I'm getting married, and my cycle lands, conveniently right on that weekend. Is there a way I can delay it a week or so?

Talk to your doctor.

How soon is the wedding? If its soon you are probably too late.

Congrats btw!

R u on the pill?? If so, just stop taking it about 2 weeks before you are due and you will come on within 2 days or so. Your cycle will then change. start taking a new pack of pills and voila- you won't be on for your special day...

If you're not on the pill, you need to see your doctor who can give you an injection or special tablets to delay it by a week...

Best of luck and congrats!! ;o)

Your doc can guide you in a birth control pill that you can take for up to three months without having a period. If you are already on the pill you may be able to skip taking the "inert" pills and start a new pack which would prevent a period. But don't do this without your docs advise as not all bc pills work the same.
