I have watched the show on and off for years and just recently started watching ritually again. I was curious if Summer was really Nick and Phyliss' or if she was Jack's baby and no one knew!

let me be a little more clear, i don't necesarily want to know if u think that is what is going to happen. i want to know if they even in the past made it a possability, did they ever let u know the truth. of course they can throw that in as a twist. but i want to know if at anytime has it been said, seen, lead to, hinted at, ect.

No one has ever said or did anything on the show to make you believe that Summer is Jack's, and not Nick's!
Reading SPOILERS MAKE YOU THINK THAT! but I don't believe the spoilers either! in my opinion Summer is Nick's child. The writers can chane the story lines any way they choose to!
But to answer the real question? It has never been said or talked about Jack being the father>>>>>>>>>

To be honest, nobody but the writers know. For those who read spoilers and believe everything they read, they find themselves disappointed when a story doesn't turn out the way they tell everyone it will. Writers have the right to change the story for certain reasons, and that's the main reason I don't read spoilers. It was suppose to come out during the summer that Jack was Summer's father and it never happened. It keeps the viewers watching.

I saw the part where Summer got sick and possibly needed a blood transfusion, but then all this hoopla about Phyllis going off to jail came about, and I think Latham dropped that storyline (like she does with all others.) Since then, Summer has gotten surprisingly well. There is mention that this will never be brought up again, and Nick will stay with Phyllis for a while.

Why does every one want summer to be jacks daughter. Jack does not need any more kids. He has two sons already. One by his dead wife Luann which they never mention. Then he has the one with Diane which they never even mention kyle any more at all. So - you see folks - jack does not need any more kids. What! where he can send them off or ship them to live with their mother and they are never mentioned again. I am hoping the writer' stick to their guys and don't have jack be summer father. Nick and Phyllis deserve some happiness after what they have been through this year. do not want jack to be summer's father. He has enough children now

There are reports of interviews done with Lynn Latham, head writer. She said there would be no question of Summer's paternity and that Nick was the father and she had no plans to lead that storyline in a different direction.

Nick is the only person whoever saw the paternity results, besides the lab of course. He came in and told Phyllis the baby was his and they told Jack....so only Nick knows for sure but of course he has amnesia, sort of. I think soon the truth will come out that Nick lied!!

Right now there is no question of who is Summers father...it's Nick, we all know this, but as all soaps do one day I'm sure something will happen and Summer will be Jack's baby, when shes like 30yo or something. I hope not I like Phylis and Nick together.

Summer is supposed to be Nick's baby, but with the big "fuss" they're making over this kiss between Nick & Sharon, I think it's leading to a new storyline.
I think it'll turn out that Summer will get sick & that's when they'll find out that Jack is really the "daddy"!!!!

I never heard of Summer being Jack's baby but who know Phyllis is so vindictive I wouldn't put anything past her....to get what she wants. But as far as I know Summer is Nick's baby.

I thought when summer was sick with the fever it was the beginning of a story line but it was not. We never saw what Nik saw with the resulsts and I can not imagine Nik keeping it a secret. But, if things get tough with the writers they may use Nik's amnesia as a part and he has flashbacks of the results??
