I think i would buy a suit of armor, like the Knights used. Of course, you could change the lock on the door.

trained doberman or german shepherd*(post a beware of dog sign on your door too for your own protection against any lawsuits)
and if all else fails
Smith & Wesson are pretty good protectors*

Maybe you should be more selective of your cutlery. Perhaps a dull butter knife would have been a better choice.

why sleep? have you checked the knife? maybe the shop added 'to death' after 'I love you', so she's trying to prove herself.
