It should be that if you get 10 percent in that category, you would get a top contributor sticker.

Hi Third P--YES you are. You're a "philosophical person" by nature. You search for answers of logical reasoning, & your questions often have so much depth they evoke my pondering, & that is indeed enriching. Many in this section don't use logic at all, but ramble with assumptions & opinions. You are always courteous, never caustic or even respond to "abrasive" answers. I truly admire that in you.
I'm glad I saw this question, although Y/A seems to be telling everyone their contacts haven't asked any qestions! (I just go to your avatar.) This all ties in...I JUST got an email from a good Y/A friend, & I'll quote from within the email:
"Have you run into Third P? He's doing well in philosophy, a young man not working in English as his first language."
This is interesting, because while the first part of small's answer was correct, he hasn't taken this into consideration. MANY people whose first & only language is English, don't express themselves as well as you do. I have no problems understanding you!
As to the TC--I was a bit stunned when mine first appeared, & even a little embarrassed, like "What did I do to deserve this?" I learned that there ARE benefits to the TC. I was invited to contact more people I relate to, & the psychological side was that people seemed to give more thought to my answers. Then, some time after, it vanished, & I missed it! My understanding is that I'd been too long off Q&A, so, I need to post more often.
I'm not really sure entirely, of how they assign the TC, but read something in the forum that they were considering raising the % of Best Answers.
I'll be delighted to see your orange badge, & very proud of you, too! Hope it's soon.

Hi Third P.

You are already a Top Contributor in my mind.

Every day I look forward to seeing your questions, which are thought-provoking, as well as informative in themselves.

You are a philosophical person who is seeking wisdom and who is constantly gaining knowledge.

You are also giving us many things to think about. Many of your questions are the type that make me stop and wonder...I end up giving them much thought. They help open my own mind a little bit more each time.

You obviously care for other people, and it shows in your writings. You are obviously searching for deeper meanings, as are many of us. You give us a chance to share our own feelings & thoughts with you & others also.

You are certainly destined to be a Top Contributor in Philosophy. Just maintain the state of patience & peace; it will come to you, most likely when you are not even thinking about it.

But, as I said earlier, even without the orange badge, you are, indeed, a Top Contributor in the minds of all of us who are with you here in the Philosophy category.

Keep up the good work.

As i told you before your questions and also your answers are so thought-provoking that surely you deserve that badge. Think even without it you are one of the few people who have contributed much to our philosophical quest in life and also to rejuvenation of our brain's cells.
I'm sure the sentences your friends have written here for you (beautiful sentences indeed! all of them) give you much more delight and joy than that badge.
But The badge is finding its way toward you.
Why ? Because you have asked for it. (remember the law of attraction?)
When? Very soon, for sure.
How? Does it really matter? Just keep up the good job.

Yes Third, in fact you are more than worthy. Your questions are insightful and make one think deeply. I look forward to your questions.

I don't know how the selection process works - if it's done by math or by some YA person perusing.

I'd petition for you :-)

I am sure one worthy as you will be chosen soon. Your questions are insightful, interesting and certainly challenging in Philosophy to the point of making us all ponder in thought and response to whether we can delve into your query with competence.

Yes... you do have a deep philosophical mind..... just keep answering and one day you will be surprised to get the tag.... perhaps you can hasten it by just trying to express yourself in simple words taking care to spell correctly and keep the grammar in place........ yes, I believe the correctness of language is important too for the questioner to fully appreciate your answers.

Best of luck!!
