we spend as a nation 1.4 TRILLION dollars annually on medicare, medicaid, and social security, and, about
120 BILLION a year on the war in Iraq and Afghanastan...

We already spend tons of money on food for the poor, here and abroad, but if that were all we spent it on and did not spend any for the war on terror we would be too dead by now to care.
You see most of the time peace has a price. We would not have the freedoms in this country that we have today if it were not for wars. We must fight off terrorists who have vowed to kill all Americans and have already killed thousands of them since 2001. Don't listen to the left propaganda machine trying to persuade you to think that we do not have a valid war going. If we did not have it, thousands more Americans would be dead today and it could be you or your whole family and all of your friends. Yes it could, because 911 happened in our country and Homeland Security and the FBI has thwarted many more planned attacks here since then while you were out in la la land believing the nuts who say it isn't so.
You will be shocked if a Democrat gets elected president with their anti war views and anti closed border views, because that is exactly what the terrorists are waiting for. Many terrorists have come to this country to organize and live among us so that as soon as their best friends the leftist Democrats are in power, they can Finnish the job. If you don't believe it now, you will when it is too late to turn back. Do you want to be forced to speak Arabic?
If America had not gone to war against the Nazis we would be speaking German and there probably would be no Israel.

I've always thought this. And get shouted down most times I state it.
How do you spend money on peace? You take care of people in need. A strong healthy society can do more than a government.

We are spending the money on war now so we can have peace later on. Without fighting the war, there will never be a peace until the terrorists have taken everything.

How do you spend money on peace? Historically it has been by funding the military and wars.. and that hasn't changed.

Actually, a lot of the money spent on the war does get spent on food, and eventually, peace.

Food for who? You want peace? Ask the Islamic extremists what their objective is. Their objective is nothing more or less than the destruction of everyone that doesn't share their views.
Its not a matter of just leaving them alone. I can guarantee you that if the west pulled completely out of the middle east. They would still attack us. Its what they believe needs to happen. Its what they are taught as children.
The only way to change their views would be to kill the people that are teaching kids to hate the west because we aren't followers of Islam. Its a simple fact that they aren't willing to change and they are more than willing to die for their beliefs.

Not at the moment,fighting terrorist is our government top piriority,only when we get rid of all those fuxxx terrorist hiding in Iraqi or Afghanistan,we will have PEACE forever,you must understand that.don't you.The World love and thank us for helping them to get rid of terrorist which they cannot get rid of.hope this help...
