i either lay in bed and read or watch t.v
i pretty much spend time by myself to relax :]

First, I delight myself with a piece of chocolate and then I put some good music, lock myself in the kitchen and cook (generally pastries or desserts when I am stressed), or if I have the chance, I sit in front of the ocean and just listen to the sound of the waves, or may be walk in a park. Sometimes I also lock myself and watch some good dvd.
Sometimes I also lie down and cry.

I prefer to deal with what is causing the stress rather than just being "stressed". If it is something I can do something about, I do it. If it is beyond my control I just accept it. Living with stress is too taxing. Taking steps to fix the problem, even if it will take years and the results are uncertain, helps alleviate the stress.

I contemplate about the stress. Then, sometimes I just cry it out if I figure that there's really nothing I can do about it. But when I realize that I have the power over it, I get excited... and a rush of adrenalin, then I go pell-mell/wild/mad cause I usually feel the need to let the excitement permeate.

read a good book. have some tea, pray about my stress, and then once I have calmed down I try to be active, using energy can be a great way to make yourself feel better, also eat healthy food like salads and fruite :)
oh yeah, and just like Tribbles said, petting a cat or dog can help relieve stress and cant do anything but make you smile :)

Go to my room, or car after it gets dark outside and listen to music...
I live out in the country so the sky is pretty at night cuz u can see lots of stars.

Most of the time, I just cry, then I go into a cleaning frenzie! Then I sit down, and try to figure out what I am going to do about the situation.

Cry.
I read that everyone has an automatic reflex to extreme emotions: extreme happiness, sadness, stress, frustration, etc, etc. Some people's reflex is to get angry or be snappish...mine is to cry.
