Im gonna have sex within the next 3 weeks and I've been taking LD pills for a whole cycle and am taking them right now too. in my past cycle though I didnt miss a dose and I was not on any other interacting medication I exprienced midpain which means I was ovulating and I had my period on time without my cramps getting any better so that implies me to believe my body isnt responding to the pills, do I need to ask my doctor to prescribe me HD pills or am I just being very fussy?

I had the same worries when I started pills, I understand the resort isnt condom cuz especially when u r married like my case you take the pills to avoid using condoms, so it really sounds stupid to manipulate yor hormones and still having condom while having sex. go to your doctor when you're having midpain, she'll take a sample of your discharge and can tell you if you've ovulated or not.

In a word, YES!. It is possible to get pregnant while on the pill. It doesn't happen that often, but it most definitely does happen and if it's going to happen, it's usually in the beginning when a woman has just started taking them. I would say go with everyone else's suggestions and use maximal other birth control measures, realizing that even then, sometimes nature will find a way, and life will have its way. Please also realize that it can take up to six months for your body to get used to being on the pill (regulate itself) and that it can take even longer for your body to find its own rhythms when coming off it. Sit tight, continue taking your pills, breathe very deeply and and just keep doing what you're doing. It's good that you're not missing any doses, b/c that's what starts to make the efficacy of the pill REALLY sketchy.

Yep I got pregnant twice while on the pill. After the first baby the doctors changeed the pill to a high hormone level and then I got pregnant again. It is only 99% the only sure way is not to have sex.

No it would be odd to predict the time you ovulate, and you can get pregnant with any type of birth control, it is very unlikely but some women have had pregnancy while being on birth control.
If you have not missed a dose I think you can have sex if you´re worried just use a condom as it is your firts month, you better be safe.
Pill has more than 99% of efectiveness, using a condom makes you much more protected.

Good luck! ;D

check with your doctor..only he can decide what to prescribe you..every individual is different..what is good for others might not be good for you..
concerning pregnancy,if u dont miss any pill, there is no chance that u can get pregnant but if u miss even 1 dose, the risk is there.. if u realise that u missed your pill, within 24 hrs u can still take it,the next pill u take on schedule.. it will decrease the risk of pregnancy but it wont remove the risk!! if this happen, for the rest of the cycle, use barrier method of contraception, such as condoms or vaginal diaghram.

It is possible to get pregnant while on the pill. No birth control (except abstinence) is 100% effective. If you want to be sure, use a condom in addition to the pills.

yes it is possible, but just because your cramps haven't changed doesn't mean your body isn't responding. If you're worried have a chat with ur mum...or the doc. Use a condom anyway, you don't want an STD do you? Good luck :)

NOTHING is 100% effective, NOT pills, NOT the shot, NOT the ring, NOT the patch.

ONLY ABSTINENCE.

SO, if you have sex, you risk the chance of becoming pregnant even IF you took it exactly as prescribed.
