I am retaining so much fluid and I am 6 days post op from my boob job. I asked the docter why I am so swollen and he says I am retaining water but cant tell me why. Does anyone know why and how I can loose that excess retention? Before my op I was 124 and now I am 132.

Are you up and active? Anesthesia can cause fluid retention and you need to drink more water in order for it to drain. And eat less or no salt, try to remain active and see if you start flushing it away. A pound a day of liquids is placing strain in your circulatory system and might compromise the healing process.
You can also help yourself with home remedies. Take 2 celery stalks, blend them in water and drink one glass in the morning and one in the afternoon. If you don't start shedding that retained liquid, keep on asking your doctor until he finds a cause.

Wow.

Your body needs TIME to heal after two surgeries.

PATIENCE is the key to any recovery.

If he can't tell you why, be persistent. Unless he just honestly doesn't know why or can't tell you how to fix it. You could always talk to your regular doctor.

Plus when you get implants OF COURSE your weight will be greater than before.
