oh i love the book u have 2 read it once in ur life .ok
its the story of an orphan red headed child who comes 2 live with 2 old ppl. who have never known a child least of all a comically sensitive,red headed 11 year old gal who is of quick temper.then both the parties learn 2 live with eachother..becuz there is deep love in their hearts for the homeless anne...n at green gables she finds a home n love.set in a beautiful place with beautiful language n situations which ann is all the time falling into n getting out...

Anne goes lives with this man and woman. The man was real nice and liked Anne. The old woman was harsh with Anne. Over time Anne was such a great person that the old woman finally made a bond and everyone was happy.
