Absolutely! Because the life of your egg is so short, you actually have a better chance having sex in the few days before you ovulate, his sperm lives longer and has a better chance to get to it's "target".

ovulation isnt an exact science. you can become pregnant anytime around that time.. its just easier to become pregnant.
