If they are going to ban human contact why not just close the schools - turn them into apartment buildings and let kids self teach? It would certinlay make "educators"safer. What do you think!

This is just as ridiculous as banning kickball, tag, dodge ball and the myriad of other things that kids are no longer allowed to do. Yet, perversely, we expect them to still be kids and bemoan the fact that they're involved in "adult activities" apparently blithely unaware that our ridiculous restrictions are detrimental to our children and, by extension, our future.

Coincidentally, your idea (I know you said it sarcastically) is not so far fetched and probably isn't far off. I predict that within the next 50 years kids will no longer be physically going to a school building. They will be sitting at home watching a teacher on their computers and emailing their lessons (cut and pasted from the internet, of course because why learn when you don't have to?). They've already started this program for summer schools in Montgomery County, MD.

When I was in h.s. we were NOT able to touch each other. No hand holding, no hug, no NOTHING. Truthfully.....I think you can do without touching each other during school time. Let's have school be what it was meant to be....a place for teaching and learning about math, science, etc. NOT making it a place to hang all over boyfriends/girlfriends, etc. That is not necessary to do at school.

I bet I don't get a 'best answer' for this one!!!!LOLOLOL

I agree. They have that rule in GA schools, but they still kept the right to use corporal punishment.
