wel it is the best policy in the perfect world not in this wrold cuz in this world u mustt lie cuz honesty aint gona work believe me u can try it its the best policy where all people are honest n understandin n considerative not here while the reason people lie is whether they are afraid or to protect themselves or even to protect others from being hurt n all n lets face it in many occasions u better lie

All kinds of reasons. Fear, insecure, don't want to hurt someones feelings, want to impress someone, etc. Honesty may be the best policy but it does not stop people from lying. Sometimes the truth hurts. I still try to be as honest as possible and that can be hard sometimes.
