October 2,2007, I recieved a text message coming from a certain foundation which is the PCF or the Philippine Charity Foundation with a message goes like these:
"Notice from PCF. Phil. Charity foundation.
Sir/Ma'am Congrats!
You are the lucky winner for the last 4 digits of your cellphone number. As a second/prize you won! P560,000.00. When the PCF have national fund raising activities yesterday Oct. 1, 2007. Plase text your name/address for info call me (+639262944771) IM RONALD CRUZ.Per DTI-NCR permit# 290.
Hope you guys you can help me spreading the news to everybody, in order for them to be aware of those people who have no conscience!

Scam is the only word to describe what you narrated. Philippine Charity Foundation is more likely a ghost organization what is existing is the Philippine Charity Sweepstates Office.

Sounds like a scam indeed. I've been working for various non-profit organisations in the Philippines since the early 90s and I've never heard of this foundation.
