It is because no goldfish will survive in a bowl. That is not a proper home for goldfish. As many will die as you put in there. Goldfish need 10 gallons per fish, filter, airator and heater. Do some research on your pet. Don't buy any more goldfish to put in that bowl. They would live longer in the toilet and it would be cleaner for them.

first of all, you can not put even a single goldfish in a BOWL! It will die. you need at least 15 gallons per goldfish...these fish get at least 1 foot...and they will not grow to the size of their tank, they will keep growing. so for your two goldfish you need at least 30 gallons. goldfish produce alot of waste and when kept in tiny bowls, this waste will kill them. please do some research on the fish you want to get so you know what your getting into and can provide them with a better home than a bowl.

1. Get a larger container. ONE goldfish needs about a five-gallon container.
2. Get a filter, especially if your container is smaller. Goldfish are very messy.
3. Make sure the fish you buy are healthy to begin with.
4. If the above doesn't work, yes, go to another pet store.

It's because you're putting TWO GOLDFISH in a BOWL. That's like keeping a dog in a hamster cage.

Either get a large aquarium for the potentially 1ft each fish or don't buy any at all.

Never put any animal in a fishbowl.

Here's some good advice, first get a good book and read it. Then when you know that you are doing everything correctly, try some more fish. If these die then you know it's the supplier.
