My enthusiasm for sex hasn't diminished yet, I'm 54. Do you KNOW most women? Do you have PROOF they reach their sexual peak in their 30s?

I am almost 38, but I have no desire for sex anymore. I got married at 27, but my husband and I never even consummated the marriage. My whole life then, became my child. He was all I cared about, so I didn't focus on physical pleasure at all. I guess I lost my "taste" for it, but I don't believe it was because I had a child, since after my divorce, I wanted sexual activity A LOT, later, but now no. I believe that the reason for me not having that desire anymore, is because I was never treated right in the bedroom, as a man should treat a woman. My pleasure was always ignored by ignorant men, on how to please a woman. I just lost interest, plain and simple. I had a better time with myself, if you know what I mean.

I am 45 and mine has not diminished at all, it is still racing like the engine of a fine sports car. I think when I was in my 20s I was very conservative and reserved, but once I became comfortable in my own skin when I was in my 30s, it has been pretty high. I think alot depends on your ability to get turned on and your tastes vary as you get older, people just need to get properly turned on. The men in my life have always been happy with my sexuality, most of the times it has been me that is disappointment in the men, like tv clicker, beer and football rate more than a good romp in the bedroom. I think people are all different, and it is a much smaller percent of women that loose their drive. All my female friends and sisters are just like me.

Have you heard the phrase, "use it or lose it"? I don't think women necessarily peak in their thirties, as long as they stay sexually active. I'm almost 40, and it's getting better, not worse.

I am 40 and I've noticed my desire has actually increased since I had my tubes tied a few years ago. I have no fear of becoming pregnant again, and that's been very liberating. My husband couldn't be happier!
