Smedrik you are proving my point! Why do I have to justify to you what I do with my own money????

dskog you are a LIAR - TAX REVENUE IS UP, AND RISING AT 4 TIMES CPI. Nobody's "paying for the tax cuts" - we're paying for Bush's spending - and he spends too much, I agree - but don't use that to falsely impugn the tax cuts.

Smedrik where'd you go? Smedrik's answer was "if you tell us what you're going to do with the money, maybe that could justify the tax cuts."

I guess she couldn't stand the heat, so she left the kitchen.

There you go. Typical liberal rhetoric and one that even wants to know what you're doing with YOUR money before she tells you what to do with it.

One more reason why we HAVE to keep the loonies out of office.

OUR money?? Since when is what individuals earn for their efforts and investments OUR money??/ It is the EARNINGS of that INDIVIDUAL....

All people should be taxed equally with the same percentage of their income going towards taxes to support the interworkings of the government. Note that I did NOT say to be redistributed to other people who did not EARN that money. The mantra of entitlement must end. YOU are the only one responsible for YOU and your dependents.

In this country you have the right to succeed, just as you have the right to fail. The government is not set up to PROVIDE the INDIVIDUAL welfare... the government is here to PROMOTE the GENERAL welfare... there is a huge difference between the two and it was not a mistake that the founding fathers chose the words that they used.

________
Smedrik... what a load of crap..... it is the liberals that try and have more earmarks, pork bellies, etc.... more entitlement programs with huge bureaucracy behind it.... corruption within the system of wealth redistribution that you liberals support....

Yes government should be accountable.... but that is NOT what liberals propose or support in ANY way, shape, or form.... as evidenced by their actions, not the verbal excrement that comes out of their ever lying mouths

He is right. They know it, and are having a hard time selling their agenda. Tax and spend is a disease like cancer and it continues to grow. Michigan is a fine example of what Democratic leadership on a national level will do. The state, is on the brink, and Governor Granholm, just increased taxes again. We are "blown away".

After 9/11 Bush told everyone to go shopping, but I didn't want to shop. But he said it was good, so I went on a shopping spree at Sak's and now I have a $25,000 credit card debt. Is this helping the economy? Oh yea it's helping Citibank.

How about defunding the Iraq war, getting a full refund of all public monies from Blackwater...

wait, that'd be like me deciding what I wanted done with 'my money'.

You cons have raised the debt almost 5 trillion in 7 years, don't pretend to be fiscally responsible.

Who said "I prefer cigars" is wrong" and what does that have to do with making tax cuts permanent?
How do you propose we pay for the war unless you expect your great, great, great, great grandchildren to pay for it? The cost of this war is assuring we will be in debt for decades, perhaps centuries to come.

Tell us what you are doing with our money, and we will tell you if those tax cuts are justified.

I was speaking of the government. There is a blatant lack of accountability as to what they do with Tax dollars, and in fact they loose more money daily then most of us will see in a lifetime) Liberals want to know where their hard earned money is going.

No.

I shouldn't have to pay the share of people making hundreds of times as much as me.
