be on a stenograph machine for 4 grueling epic hours. I'm a full time student at a Court Reporting school. I don't think I'd mind making computer chips right about now instead of listening to this d @ m n teacher blab on about the man who went on a red light.

sit in a cold garage, answer the phone, make tea for the men, deal with stroppy customers, try to entertain a 2 year old girl who is clingy, valet cars (with the child jumping all over the seats) try to get lunch down the child, deal with tantrums from the child and the other workers, and most important of all...do all this with a smile on your face and be polite!
sure, ill swop jobs with you, oh i forgot to mention i work for my hubby so i get cursed at most of the day when his jobs are not going to plan, so hope you can take abuse and turn the other cheek

assess child protection risk. you will visit people and children without knowing very much about them, ask difficult questions, get sworn at, get told that their child or you are liars, see people cry, see children cry, have to weigh up whether the child should still be there, find some positive factors, weigh up whether there is a social services role, complete loads of paper work about it, find some resources, that dont exist, tell people that they need to change when they dont understand that they're doing wrong in the first place and dont consider that they're doing anything wrong, try and explain the risks to them, etc etc
