I was a teen when learned how to drive in Manila and so my driving skill is up to par with Manila drivers. Still, I stay away from congested streets and would rather take the longer route, if necessary. Unfortunately for those who learned driving here in the States, it would be a baptism of fire to venture into Manila roads. Drivers there have their own set of rules.
Your adult daughter is gonna be okay. Just tell her to be confident and to exercise common sense and good judgment. Stay cool, that's the best antidote against road rage.

Ok constantly as in everyday, every other day, every week. What is constant? I am 23 and yes I am busy with my own life, but I still want to spend time with my family if I lived closer to them I would spend more time with them, but I am 4 hours away from my mom, dad, stepmom, sister, and even further from my brothers. In August I am going on vaction with my mom. I think its possible that she may have some issues she needs to tend to on her own depending on the amount of time she is "constantly" trying to do things with you. I don't know all the details so I can only say so much. But it would be very natural for her to want to do things a few times a month or hang out with her little sisters. As far as you vacation - if its a family vacation and YOUR daughters are going with you also then I think you are just being selfish in not wanting her to go.

I do not have a 25 year old daughter. But my sister was driving when she was 20. I was driving when I was 17.
Alternatively, you can get a driver. Peace of mind has a price tag, sometimes.

Just like I tell my driver, I'll tell you. Lock your doors and close your windows. Stay on the main streets, don't take any short-cuts. Most of all stay away from Tondo.

Fear is the path to the dark side.
Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate... leads to suffering.
-Yoda
Never let fear take command of your lives. Whatever happens... happens. All we mortals can do is to TRY to avoid accidents and unwanted occurences... the rest is up to fate.
