Yes, I am thinking of “paying” for my own publication on poetry due to the simple fact that not many people buy poetry books so it will be very hard to find a Publishing House willing to accept poetry (unless your name’s already out there right?)

I have been all over the Internet and am exhausted from doing research. I would like to find a place where I can design the cover and title and add pictures to the poems. The initials for the title would be S.H.A.D. and so far, this is what I’ve come up with
Shadow’s
Hypnotic
Asylum
Debris

I am just completely stumped as to where to go from here (sigh) although I want a totally mixed up book of poetry, not just your usual “Love” n such, you know what I mean?

Any help is greatly appreciated *^_^*

It's hard to suggest a creative title without knowing what style of poetry you've written. Perhaps you can find a poem of yours that seems to describe the whole of your work or the general theme of your work and use the poem's title for your book. ie: (from one of my favourite poets) A wild peculiar joy- selected poems by Irving Layton

She
Had
A
Dream
or: Waking Nightmares.

P.S. - Microsoft Publisher or even Word can be used to lay out a book. I have done a number of pamphlets of up to 32 pages in Word. It also lets me insert and manipulate images.

What about giving the book the same title as one of your best poems, and having that be the first one in the book?

Here's another suggestion:

Shadows
Hide
All
Density

Best wishes!

First, I would love to read more of your poems to get a better understanding. How can I read your work? Funny, but there is a feature in a graphics program I use called "shadow lab". What do you think?

How about "If I did a poetry book..." as your title. Acronyms don't always come across the way you like. Shad makes me think of fish.

SHAD:
