If a medical examiner found that a person Cause of death was accendental would you think that someone would be eligible to claim the insurance. I don't understand none of this and would like some advice. Would you think that the insurance company would look at why the death was accendental and if by some chance you couldn't claim the insurance because it wasn't like a car accident or something, but not knowing that you were overdosing on medicine.

Claudiacake, I don't know what the hell you are talking about. I simply asked a simple question and you went all down the wrong road my husabnd died if you must know and we had Accidental death and dismemberment insurance and not the regular life insurance and waiting on the Autopsy report for quite awhile we didn't know his cause Of death and I know his cod now and just wanted to know if someone can claim on the insurance if the medical examiner labeled his death as accidental, but if the insurance company wanted to know why his death was accidental which he not knowing overdosed on medicine. I'm really asking if the insurance company would look at just accidental, or why it was accidental and since he was not in a car accident or nothing could someone still claim the insurance.

So they accidentally overdosed on medicine?

Now, I'm assuming they already have AD&D insurance.

From what I understand an insurance company only looks at the death certificate and if the death is a direct result of an accident, they will pay out. But make sure you checked the fine print. Some companies will not pay out for if you're in surgery and die, have a mental or physical illness, bacterial infection, hernia, or you have a drug overdose that results in your death.

I really don't know where you are coming from on this. Are you planning on killing yourself in a staged car accident, but you want to be drugged out of your mind so you can actually do it? Definitely not a good idea. No guarantee of death, and you might actually end up in worse shape than you are right now. Friend, suicide is never the answer. You're going to die soon enough, anyway, why hurry it along?
All that aside, you want an answer to a question. Here's the best I can do, not knowing if this scenerio is a has happened, going to happen, or might happen.
Death in a car wreck is pretty obvious, especially if other people witness the crash. Providing there were no other victims involved, there might not even be a medical examiner involved. If the paramedics arrive and pronounce a person DOS (dead on scene), there is seldom any question. If, however, the accident is not witnessed and someone just happens on it later, you can bet there will be an autopsy. At an autopsy, they will discover all sorts of things from the drug overdose to what the person ate before they died. Likewise, if there are other people involved who are injured and killed, whether in the primary victims vehicle or in other vehicles or on foot, there will autopies conducted because you can be sure there will be lawsuits stemming from the collision. Big "however" here.....HOWEVER, ingestion of drugs is no indication of suicide unless you have ingested an amount that would have killed you, with or without the accident. People overdose all the time, never intending to do so. Looks even less suspicious if you have a prescription for the drug involved.
Like I said, suicide is never worth it. If you have family, you will be consigning them to hell on earth for the rest of their lives wondering what they could have done to help you. Even if they never know it was suicide, they will still never get over your death. I know this for a fact, from personal experience. Reconsider.

You have got to be there and signal the varieties in man or woman for anybody to take out lifestyles coverage on you. My spouse and I simply purchased a few a few months in the past. I received a time period coverage on me and a household plan for my spouse and youngsters. Make certain you don't seem to be being paranoid. Insurance is a well factor. My stepfather died previous this 12 months in an car coincidence. The funeral by myself was once $10,000, to not point out the misplaced earnings. Insurance corporations don't seem to be dull. They will examine any suspicious claims.
