i don't understand y people think that homosexuality is sinful how can it i mean if u r the most innocent person in the world but u r gay it is not right to say they are sinful for what they are and in the bible it says about how it is sinful for 2 people of the same sex to have sexual relation with each other but in which they are straight
i think that the bible is just something people who believe in god should read more as a guideline for how u should live ur life which is just being a good person but people take the bible and intreperate it into ways that go against its purpose if u live a rightous life u should be able to go to heaven if u honestly dont beleive it is sinful then it is not ur world is what u make it u see what u know it is to be until u found out differently

I don't have a problem with a particular church holding that viewpoint; if they believe homosexual sex to be wrong, then so be it. It's not up to me to change the particular beliefs or teachings of a church. Sooner or later, they might change themselves.
On the other hand, "I love the sinner, but hate the sin" usually doesn't mean that; rather it means "I hate both sin and sinner and therefore have a right to treat the sinner with disdain."
True love of the siner would not compel the denial of civil rights.

This question will never end. My question is, "Are the gay people Christians?" If they believe in the Bible, then according to the Bible it is a sin. If they don't believe in the Bible then it shouldn't even matter to them what the Christians think.
Christians use the "love the sinner but hate the sin" even in their own lives with their own families with all kinds of sin. They never say being gay is more of a sin than being judgemental or being a gossip. They acknowledge those sins as well. However, you don't hear of their dislike for those sins because they aren't talking about as much as the gay thing.
Everyone has weaknesses, some people struggle with desires to smoke and drink and mistreat their body, some with temper, some with gossiping, some with sexual desires, some with homosexual desires, some with selfishness, some with coveting. But all of them have to work on these tendencies (if indeed they are Christians) and overcome the sin with Jesus' help.

I don't take it as an honest, sincere statement from the believers. If they "hate the sin", then they won't love gays because they see our sexual preference as being a sin -- they don't differentiate. It's more of the same self-righteous, holier-than-thou nonsense that has been going on for centuries.
It's amazing how being gay, to some people, is the worst thing happening, but yet other things in the bible (so-called sins), are excused away by a variety of feeble excuses.

HOMOPHOBIA: irrational concern of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals. Please word it particularly is a psychiatric definition! Primitive faith has consistently lagged in the back of the progression in ethical attitudes and that's what those human beings are doing to Christianity – making it primitive! there have been people who adversarial the abolition of slavery, emancipation for women human beings, the banning of discrimination of ladies human beings, the tries to eliminate racism and now the ought to eliminate homophobia! Anglican leaders from around the globe have for sure pronounced their opposition to the "victimization or diminishment" of gays and lesbians, asserting demonizing and persecuting them became "completely against Christian charity and undemanding techniques of pastoral care". "we are saying that no person ought to ought to stay in concern as a results of bigotry of others." The Mormons poured tens of millions into forcing via prop 8 in CA: to restrict gay marriage. In August 2010 the court docket held that to be unconstitutional. On 15 June 2011 the San Francisco court docket upheld that determination because of the fact it violates the constitutional rights of electorate. On 7 February 2012 the 9th Circuit court docket of Appeals struck the California regulation back looking that the California state shape banning comparable-intercourse marriage violated techniques of due technique and equivalent risk-free practices below the regulation. The court docket chanced on that the ban violates equality regulations to objective a minority team and withdraw a properly suited that it possessed, and not utilising a valid clarification for doing so. Proposition 8 serves no objective, and has no result, different than to shrink the status and human dignity of gays and lesbians in California. The shape in basic terms would not enable for regulations of this form. it particularly is now anticipating the splendid court docket verdict it particularly is anticipated to uphold the early court docket determination. If that occurs then gay marriage will improve into criminal everywhere and which would be marriage and not civil partnership! interior the united kingdom The intolerance, bigotry and homophobia from Christians led to it being classed as a hate crime with severe sentences. It has brought about the government framing legislations which if enacted will replace "Civil Partnership" with finished marriage. New Zealand, France, Spain and ten different worldwide places have legalized gay marriage and others have started legislating to accomplish that! The loving god works in mysterious techniques.

That they are honest and open Christians people and are not as hypocritical as many other religious folks. Religion say`s we must love and accept others no matter what. But many churches judge gays as un-religious.
The Catholic church condemns homosexuality -yet protect priests that indulge in molesting young boys and girls.
Gay folks can live their lives and be decent ,religious members of society .

Christians regard being openly and/or actively gay as a sin
But the idea of "Hating the Sin but Loving the Sinner" applies to everything they regard as sinful.

Whenever I hear that, I have to laugh out loud. How can you be so hypocritical? Not only have you sinned before, but we're the only "sinners" out there? How can you love me, but not love how I live my life? Obviously you're passing judgement on me 24/7 and it's not fair, I don't judge what you do in your free time, don't judge me. =[ People are so mean sometimes.

That is one of the most sick and twisted things that fake Christians say about us. It just shows how twisted they are to call love sin, to call us sinners, and then to call themselves lovers (of us). They are lying when they say they love us. Feels like hate to me! Does'nt it feel like hate to you? God is love, not hate. Working for a religion that hates is about having power and getting money. Have you noticed that the people who say this are either religious leaders in power and living a luxury life style on the donations from their church members, or church members that are dumb and scared enough to believe that 'hate the sin' crap and dumb enough to give them money. I would feel sorry for them if they weren't attacking us, but they are attacking us. So I don't support them, and I want them to stop attacking us, and to stop using us to make money and to stop using us to exploit hate for power and money. I support any church that supports GLBTSA, believes that God is love, and that helps poor people.
But that is just how I feel about it!

My thoughts? That people who say this are piety-mouthing hypocrites, and nothing more - certain not "christian" in any sense of the word.
God makes all of us. Some of us he chose to be LGBT, some straight. Who would defame any of God's children or the lives God chooses for them?
