I do really like Bon Jovi's 'Make a Memory,' but it seems kind-of just like a current day Bob Seger's 'We've Got Tonight' to me...

Bon Jovi has a hit. who cares if it reminds us of another song. movies do remakes everyday. I love the new song.

Listen to todays music. Then go back and find some 70's music and count how many 70's songs have been re-made and butchered by the latest "talent".
It makes me sick when the music from another writer gets used with new words to make a new song, and the kids think its all "new" Cant these bums of today write their own stuff?

I disagree really...different lyrics and different chord progressions...two different songs.

Now if you are saying that the feeling behind both songs are the same, then maybe...but almost all love songs are similar in that way

I never really thought about it like that. I wouldn't say he copied it or anything, but the similarities are the same.

Jon tends to wear his influences on his sleeve so it is possible. But I don't think so, it may similar in theme, but thats "love songs" for you
