Co-sleeping is fine as long as you are not intoxicated by any substance in which case it is never fine and very dangerous to a baby. A baby of 4 months (I have one too and a 2yo) can still wake up alot at night and expect a feed. My son sometimes sleeps through and i put him to bed at about 8.30. Usually though he is awake once or more a night depending on how he is feeling. Feed them, dont talk to them, keep the lights low or off, burp them, wrap them up and put them back to bed. I would make getting a mattress for your cot a priority before he gets much older and a real habbit forms where she wants to sleep in your bed all the time. Good luck its hard work sometimes but it doesn't last forever.

I have no trouble sleeping. But when I am wide awake at bedtime, that could only be caused by either or both of the following:
1. Drinking with friends
2. Playing tong-its with friends

One of my huskies has the absurd habbit of sleeping on the fridge and changing places to under the table every hour.
I keep hearing a big bang when he jumps off
Tried putting stuff on there but he just knocks them off and looks at me as if hes saying "No this spot is MINE"
Cant be bothered moving the fridge away from the shelfs (How he gets up there)

after watching a very scary and brutal murder movie scene, ,and thinking that the victim's bloody and distorted face may be just inches from your own face and the killer's deathly stare keeps you from blinking,,

i have insane thoughts at night. i think about crazy things like death, heartbreak, and pretty much every negative thing that can possibly happen to me and the people i love. when i think at night, it seems so real to me....but when i wake up i sort of laugh at myself and wonder what makes me think about those things.
